Judy of Peoria, IL has had work done by MidAmerica Basement Systems in the past. She loved the work and the service, so when she was looking to replace the tiles in her mudroom, she knew she wanted to go with a waterproof flooring option from MidAmerica Basement Systems. She talked with Service Technician Adao, who helped her select the beautiful ThermalDry Tile Flooring in Canyon Beige to complete the space in her mud room. The finished product looks amazing, and Judy is very happy.
Ian of Peoria, IL called MidAmerica Basement Systems because he wanted a warmer, more energy efficient crawlspace. He also wanted it to be dry. He met with design specialist Dan Garner. Dan custom designed a solution for Ian, including SilverGlo Insulation Panels, and CleanSpace. The space is now warm, bright and dry.
Moisture in a crawlspace can cause the floor joists to rot, making the floors of your home sag and unsafe. Lynne of Peoria made a call to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have her crawlspace encapsulated from moisture. During installation, crew members installed CleanSpace, CleanSpace drainage matting, and a SmartDrain. The CleanSpace drainage matting acts as a guide for moisture to the SmartDrain, while CleanSpace acts as a seal to prevent humidity from entering the crawlspace. Keeping the crawlspace dry and free of moisture and humidity, the floor joists will stay strong and sturdy, keeping your floors level and safe.
Due to concrete being porous, cold and damp, almost any and all flooring will become ruined and destroyed by the basement floor. Except for ThermalDry Floor Matting. ThermalDry Flooring was designed to be installed in the basement. The snap-together, peg-raised tiles allow for quick installation and allow for air/moisture movement under the flooring. The space between the floor tile and concrete floor does one of two things: prevents water/moisture from condensing under the tiles and creates a thermal break between the cold, hard concrete. The many different color and texture options are all water resistant so you never have to worry about your basement flooring becoming ruined by water leaks or seeping moisture.
Over time, the ground under a concrete patio will shift and settle, creating voids and leaving the concrete to shift and sink. Dennis was having just this issue, leaving his patio unusable for him and his guests. Some areas had shifted so bad that large gaps had become an issue. Cole from MidAmerica Basement Systems, offered the solution of PolyLevel and NexusPro Joint Sealant. PolyLevel is a special polymer material that fills voids, and lifts and stabilizes the sunken slabs. NexusPro Joint Sealant provides a seal to reduce the appearance of the gaps, and most importantly, seals the ground from seeping water. Stopping water seepage prevents the ground from washing out, leaving the concrete level longer. Dennis and his guests can once again use his patio without worries.
