WaterGuard is designed to drain wall leaks and rising ground water from the perimeter into the new SuperSump, which comes with special features that make it stand out among other sump pump systems such as a perforated and durable liner that allows ground water to drain into the unit, an airtight lid that allows water to drain into the unit but prevents water vapor to rise, and a WaterWatch alarm that will alert Amy if there are any problems.

CleanSpace is then installed over the matting and up the crawl space walls to efficiently encapsulate the space. CleanSpace is a very strong material that acts as a vapor/radon barrier and has an antimicrobial additive that resists mold growth. The team also sealed the vent to keep outside air/moisture from entering the crawl space therefor compromising its effectiveness as an encapsulation system.
