This basement in Waterloo was experiencing water leakage and wanting to catch the problem before it cause any irreparable damages, the homeowners gave the experts at MidAmerica a call and soon an expert was out to expect their home. The expert suggested the space be lined with the economical yet durable CleanSpace liner with an antimicrobial additive to fend off mold and bacteria. The space is the installed with the WaterGuard which redirects leaks to a local sump pump system. Along with efficiency, this basement is also given a brighter and cleaner feel and look.
John V. of Waterloo noticed water coming into his basement. Even more recently he noticed that the walls in his basement were damp a whole foot away from the floor. John decided to get his free estimate from MidAmerica to fix these issues once and for all. The estimate he received involved CleanSpace, and WaterGuard; two patented waterproofing projects pictured in the after photo that will solve his problems permanently.
These Waterloo homeowners had water coming into their basement from everywhere. Water was coming in through hairline cracks on the walls and through wall and floor joints. Now, the homeowners have peace of mind with their newly installed waterproofing system! Once the concrete dries, you'll never even know anything was changed.
Homeowners Mike and Sharon were having some issues with water seeping in their basement during large rainfalls. Water would only come in at a small section on the south side of the home. When they contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have their issue addressed, it was noted that water was seeping in through the large gap between the driveway and concrete patio. It was suggested that the injection of NexusPro Joint Sealant be placed along the large crack. This would protect from water seeping in and under the concrete, preventing the pooling water that would seep into the basement foundation. Sealing the gap not only preventing water from pooling underneath and against the foundation, but also prevents ground washouts from under the slabs. When washouts become present, the concrete will then cause the area to sink. NexusPro is not the only way to prevent the water seeping in the basement, and it was also offered that a waterproofing system be installed.
Mike and Sharon began to notice water seeping into a small portion of their basement wall and quickly reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems. Design specialist, Wes, inspected their situation and pointed out the main issue. The driveway had sunken, and pulled away from the home’s foundation, allowing water to seep in between and into the basement. He offered PolyLevel to help lift and level the concrete back against the foundation to prevent future water seepage. After the concrete was leveled, NexusPro Joint Sealant was applied to the crack, helping direct water away from the foundation, and a new waterproof system was installed to prevent any future leaks. Mike and Sharon not only have a waterproofed basement but a newly leveled driveway.
