In Iowa City, IA, one of our recent projects involved repairing a driveway and sidewalk for easier access. Before our intervention, the uneven concrete made it challenging for one of the residents who relies on a wheelchair. This whole sidewalk had cracks and settlement issues. Thanks to the PolyLevel system, the sidewalk looks almost brand new. The white spots on the concrete are drilled hole with ports in them where the foam will be injected. The foam is injected under the concrete to raise it back up to its original position.
Debbie called MidAmerica Basement Systems to talk about basement waterproofing and turning a passive radon mitigation system active. She met with a design specialist to get her free estimate. The waterproofing system was installed, along with a domed sump pump cover to trap radon, preventing it from entering the interior of the house. A new exit system was installed in the sump pump as well, ensuring radon toxins and water are not released.
