Kelli and John of East Dubuque, IL had radon test results come back at more than 7x greater than the EPAs safe level. After contacting MidAmerica Basement Systems, they had their radon mitigation system installed to protect the home from toxic radon gas. 

Don was having issues with a section of his concrete patio sinking down towards his home’s foundation. When it rained water would pool, and eventually drain towards the foundation, posing threat to a leaking basement. He quickly reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have PolyLevel injected. During evaluation, the sloping section had measured at a large 2 inch drop. Crewmen Richard and David got to work to lift the sloping concrete patio with ease. The effectiveness of PolyLevel allowed for appropriate lifting in quick time, with effective stabilizing results. The once large, 2 inch drop is now level with the rest of the patio. NexusPro Joint Sealant was than applied along the crack between the patio and home’s foundation to divert any future water away from the foundation, protecting it from washing out the ground from under the slab, and helping prevent future basement leaks.

Doug and Jane contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems when they were having issues with their concert driveway sinking and cracking. Since 2012 their driveway has been getting worse. They once got advice about mud jacking but they were not impressed by the face that this was not a permanent solution. PolyLevel can be used to be used lift and level sidewalks and driveways. PowerBraces are a patented I-Beam system that not only permanently stabilizes the wall, but has a tightening option that can potentially straighten the wall back to its original state. Each beam is created from galvanized steel that prevent it from rusting or oxidizing over time. Tim and Sue now have a stabilized bowing wall with hopes that it will be straight once again.
