Sealed, Raised, and Leveled in Goose Lake, IA

A homeowner in Goose Lake, IA had an uneven, unleveled, cracked concrete sidewalk leading up to the side door of their home. The sidewalk sloped to one side making it an uneven surface when you came in and out of the door making it a hazard for the homeowner. As time went on the sidewalk was not getting any better. The homeowner knew it was time to contact the experts in the industry that would be able to lift and level the concrete, MidAmerica Basement Systems. A Design Specialist was able to come out and give the homeowner the best recommendation that would meet the needs and goals of their home. The Design Specialist recommended having NexusPro and Polylevel installed within their home.

Installer, Brandon came out to the homeowners home to install NexusPro and PolyLevel. NexusPro is a long-lasting silicone based sealant. It can be applied in extreme temperatures and is resistant to ultraviolet sun rays. It is fifty percent more flexible and can stretch up to twice its size as the concrete moves. It is applied in the cracks of the sidewalk or driveway. PolyLevel has the same idea as mud-jacking but does not break up the concrete or involve any mud. PolyLevel is a lightweight foam that is injected through a dime size hole in the concrete that lifts the concrete in a controlled way and then the hole is sealed off. Leaving the sidewalk looking great!

The homeowner in Goose Lake, IA no longer has to worry about tripping or falling coming in and out of their side door to their home thanks to the MidAmerica Basement Systems Team. If you too are looking to have your concrete lifted and leveled, do not hesitate to reach out to MidAmerica Basement Systems. ThermalDry Flooring is a special snap together, pegged tile system. This allows for water and moisture to be properly dried underneath while creating a thermal break from the cold ground.

Waterproofing Basement in Milan, IL

Grant and Andrea were having issues with a leaking basement and they have an existing sump pump. They contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have their sump pump inspected. Cole had mentioned that the reason their basement was still becoming wet was due to the sump not being able to handle the amount of water that enters the basement. He suggested having a TripleSafe sump in addition to help aid the existing sump and adding WaterGuard around the perimeter to help redirect water that tries surfacing or seeping in through the foundation.

Basement Waterproofing and Stabilizing for Home in Milan, IL

Patricia was having issues with her basement always becoming wet and reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have it addressed properly. When design specialist Cole arrived at her home to evaluate her situation he found more than a leaking basement issue. Cole had addressed a bowing wall issue that was allowing water to seep in through the foundation cracks. To address the bowing wall, he offered a PowerBrace system to permanently stop the wall from worsening, and give the option to tighten and straighten the wall back to normal. A Waterproofing system was installed to address the leaking basement. WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement to help collect the seeping water from the floor and walls, and redirect it to a TripleSafe sump. Patricia now has a stable and dry basement in her home.
