Concrete is a very porous material that allows moisture to pass through and left untreated, can cause mold to grow. Contacting MidAmerica Basement Systems can properly address the issue with installing an effective system to create a vapor barrier between the wall and basement. CleanSpace is a thick liner that is placed along the walls, stopping moisture from entering the basement, and directing it to a WaterGuard system. WaterGuard will than direct the moisture and water to a sump pump where it will be properly discharged from the home, leaving the basement dry.
