Teana has always had a drainage and sump pump system to address the leaking area in her basement, that was before she had issues with other areas leaking. She reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have the leaking areas address. She was offered a whole new perimeter system called WaterGuard. WaterGuard is installed under the concrete floor to prevent water from surfacing, and helped redirect the water to the sump pump. Her current system was installed on top of the floor, which allows for more moisture to enter the air, increasing the humidity levels, and some areas even grew mold due to improper water flow to the sump pump.

With help from MidAmerica Basement Systems, we offer permanent solutions to stop bowing walls all together, while providing a stable foundation. To address the leaking, CleanSpace is often applied against the wall. This provides a moisture barrier between the wall and basement, and is directed towards a drainage system. One option for stabilizing the walls is a PowerBrace system. The patented tightening, I-Beam system not only permanently stops the wall from worsening, but can offer the opportunity to straighten the wall back to its original state over time.

PolyLevel is a foam that fills the void under the concrete slab. The foam expands and hardens under the slab, as the foam expands the slab is lifted and then it is sealed. they had PolyFoam injected under the labs around their pool.
