A SuperSump pump was installed in the middle of the floor because it was the lowest point of the basement. This is odd as usually it is in the corner of the basement but it's important that a sump pump be at the lowest point. It is also connected to a lateral so that the water from the WaterGuard can still reach the SuperSump.
Marengo homeowners were noticing a lot of repeated water intrusion in their basement so they reached out the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems. The team addressed key concerns the homeowners had such as water seeping through where the walls meet the floor by installing WaterGuard subfloor drainage system and SuperSump pump system. The homeowners now have a basement that will stay dry!
