Previous homeowners had installed their own Radon mitigation system, leading to larger issues for the current home owners. They had built a box around the sump pit, using a fan to filter the Radon out of the home. Due to the lack of proper sealing, more Radon was being pulled into the home, rather than being pulled out. A new SuperSump was installed and properly sealed so the proper Radon Mitigation system could pull the Radon out from under the concrete slab, and distributed out of the home. Once the water had reached the SuperSump, it is than discharged from her home, keeping the basement dry once again.
