The TripleSafe sump also offers a three pump system to ensure all water is discharged, even during power outages.

Bowing Wall Repair in Princeton, IA

This Princeton, IA homeowner was concerned about the stability of their basement walls due to inward bowing. To permanently address this issue and prevent further movement, we installed GeoLock wall anchors.

GeoLock is a foundation repair system specifically designed to stabilize bowing basement walls. Here's how it works:

  • Earth Anchors: Heavy-duty anchors are placed deep in stable soil outside the foundation.
  • Steel Rods: These anchors are connected to the bowing wall with long, galvanized steel rods that resist corrosion.
  • Wall Plate: A steel plate is attached to the inside of the basement wall, distributing the pressure from the rod.
  • Tightening Mechanism: The rods can be tightened over time, straightening the wall back to its original position in some cases.

By anchoring the wall to stable soil, GeoLock counteracts the pressure causing the bowing and reinforces the foundation. This minimally disruptive solution can be hidden behind finished basement walls and provides peace of mind for homeowners

Radon Mitigation System Installed in Woodhull, IL

Radon is the decay of the element radium, and is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, and radioactive. This gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Radon is found everywhere, and when it seeps into our homes, it continues to accumulate. One case in a home in Woodhull, IL, Radon levels were between 19 and 29 pCi/L. A mitigation system was installed into the concrete basement slab to draw the gas out from under the home. The specialists at MidAmerica Basement Systems have now helped provide the home with a safer breathing environment.

Concrete Repair in Spragueville, IA

Is your garage floor starting to look more like a concrete rollercoaster than a driveway? This family in Spragueville, IA, was facing exactly that. As you can see in the "before" photo, the uneven slabs were getting worse with every rainstorm, and they needed a smooth, safe surface—fast.

MidAmerica Basement Systems to the rescue! Here’s how we leveled the playing field:

The Lift: We used PolyLevel injections to pump high-density foam under the concrete, providing a much-needed lift and a stabilized base.

The Seal: NexusPro joint sealant stepped in to keep those pesky cracks closed and protected from the elements.

The "after" shot says it all: the garage floor is now smart, even, and ready for action. It’s amazing what a few strategic injections can achieve!
