Over time, the ground under a concrete patio will shift and settle, creating voids and leaving the concrete to shift and sink. Dennis was having just this issue, leaving his patio unusable for him and his guests. Some areas had shifted so bad that large gaps had become an issue. Cole from MidAmerica Basement Systems, offered the solution of PolyLevel and NexusPro Joint Sealant. PolyLevel is a special polymer material that fills voids, and lifts and stabilizes the sunken slabs. NexusPro Joint Sealant provides a seal to reduce the appearance of the gaps, and most importantly, seals the ground from seeping water. Stopping water seepage prevents the ground from washing out, leaving the concrete level longer. Dennis and his guests can once again use his patio without worries.
Katie & Matt have been at their home for 3yrs and ever since they have been having water seeping into their basement through the wall & floor joints. They plan to live at their home for the long term and want to finish their basement so fixing their leaky basement is priority. Our design specialist, Troy Hamilton had the privilege to assess the home and provide solutions for Katie & Matt. As a solution to help keep the water out the basement, Troy recommended WaterGuard. An effective waterproofing system, it captures groundwater before it leaks onto your basement floor. It does this by directing ground water to the sump pump where it can be pumped out the basement. Katie & Matt can now finish their basement with peace of mind.
Kyle and Kelly have lived in their home for almost a year. For the last few months they have worried about the water issues in their basement. They have goals to have their basement finished to have a livable space that they can use. To have a waterproofed basement they needed to have a full perimeter WaterGuard system. The WaterGuard system make sure that the water drain out properly and keeps the rest of your basement dry.
Homeowner Jordan just recently purchased his home in the last month. With the heavy rain in the last month, he has noticed pooling water in his crawlspace. He was concerned that this water could lead to foundation issues and even mold. His goal was to use this space as storage so he wanted to make sure that it was clean and dry to protect his belongings. To encapsulate his crawlspace the team at MidAmerica Basement Sytems used CleanSpace technology to make sure that the crawlspace had a protective layer. The CleanSpace is similar to very a thick pool liner, this can help with keeping your crawlspace dry and also free of rodents and insects.
