Eric and Lori had a TripleSafe sump installed awhile back by MidAmerica Basement Systems, and during their annual service appointment, it was addressed that water was starting to seep in through the foundation walls. As a result, WaterGuard (drainage tile system) was installed around the perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard has a small gap at the top of the product that allows water to run down the wall and into the drain tile. Water that enters the drainage system is than directed to the sump pump where it is properly discharged from the home.
WaterGuard is a piping system engineered to solve basement water problems effectively without worry of clogging from soils under the floor. It has large holes in the back to accept water and a flange with special segments. The WaterGuard System intercepts water at the perimeter of your basement and drains it unseen safely away. WaterGuard along with other products will keep your basement clean and dry so you can use the space for storage, or recreation purposes.
The TripleSafe Sump Pump is a three-pump sump pump system that is guaranteed to keep your basement dry. Three pumps run even if one fails to make sure that the water in your basement never reaches over the sump pump pit. The TripleSafe sump pump also comes with a battery back-up just in case you ever lose power, in which case the TripleSafe sump pump will continues to run as it is supposed to. Along with the battery back up the TripleSafe sump pump also comes with a WaterWatch alarm. The WaterWatch alarm is placed in the top of the sump pump, it holds a water sensor that will sound when the water in the sump pump reaches a level that the alarm thinks is too high. The TripleSafe sump pump is a great addition to have in any home to keep any space dry.
Homeowner, Kristi had her home tested for radon awhile back, after receiving not very pleasing results back she thought it was best to give MidAmerica Basement Systems a call. Design Specialist, Bryan was able to come out to Kristi's home and recommended her having a Radon Mitigation System installed.
Installer, Bill was able to come out and install the Radon Mitigation System along with the Exterior Aesthetic Package. This package will help increase the value of Kristi's home. It will help prolong the life of the system by covering the electrical wiring from any outside harm such as animals and the climate. It will also keep the beauty of Kristi's home!
Replacing a standard old window with a new egress window will allow a second escape in-case of an emergency in the basement level of this home.
