They met with design specialist Dustin Shepard, who helped them determine the best solution for their needs. They solution includes the patented sub-floor drainage system, WaterGurad, and a TripleSafe Sump Pump. The homeowners are very happy with their now dry basement!
Nathan K. of Cedar Rapids was noticing a large slope in his garage slab. Over the years, the ground under his garage had settled and wash-out causing the concrete slab to become uneven. He had done research on the possible ways to fix his sloping concrete. MidAmerica Basement Systems offer a PolyLevel solution. PolyLevel is similar to mudjacking, but uses a more effective solution, that won’t deteriorate or wash-put over time. PolyLevel helped Nathan’s sloping garage, lift and straighten back to its original position.
Uncovered basement window sills can lead to a leaking basement. MidAmerica Basement Systems can provide many solutions to addressing the problem. One way is to install WaterGuard along the base of the foundation walls to collect any water that enters in through the windows, to have it properly discharged back out of the home. A SuperSump was also installed to accommodate the amount of water that enters into the basement, so water does not collect on the floor.
Darwin was having some issues with water seeping in through the floor and wall joint in his basement. He wasn’t sure how or where it was entering, and called the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems. Bryan had inspected his basement and offered him a WaterGuard and TripleSafe solution. The WaterGuard collect and redirects the water to the sump pump, while preventing it from surfacing to the floor. Once the water enters the TripleSafe, it is properly discharged out of the basement, leaving Darwin a happy homeowner again.
Recently, Jeremy had MidAmerica Basement Systems install a waterproofing system to address his leaking basement. During the inspection it was also noted that he had a couple bowing walls, threating the structure of his home. A PowerBrace system with support beams were offered to permanently stabilize the walls. PowerBraces are a patented I-Beam system that gives the option of tightening the system, improving the appearance of the wall, while stopping the wall from worsening. Now Jeremy has a waterproofed and stabilized basement.
