A home in Cedar Rapids was having issues with a leaking foundation crack. Homeowners had thought the issue was resolved when they had a wall anchor system installed. Overtime, the leak caused significant damage to the basement. CleanSpace was installed to help seal off any extra moisture in the air, while WaterGuard directs water to the SuperSump, which discharges the water from the home. FlexiSpan is a polyurethane polymer sealant that provides a durable, flexible seal. PolyLevel is injected under the concrete stairs to fill the void that has been created, and lift and level the stairs back to their original position. NexusPro Joint Sealant was than applied to seal the crack, preventing future water intrusion.
Mary has a limestone foundation, and during any amounts of rain, she would always end up with a wet mess. Over the years, the walls began to stain, mold started to grow, and her home always seemed to feel damp. She finally reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have her water issue addressed. She was offered a moisture barrier for the limestone walls to increase the effectiveness of a waterproofing system. CleanSpace Wall Liner was installed along the walls, reducing the moisture levels, and help direct the water to a WaterGuard system. WaterGuard is a drainage system that collects and redirects water to a TripleSafe. Once water reached the TripleSafe, it is discharged from the home, leaving the basement dry.
