A Cedar Rapids, IA homeowner called MidAmerica Basement Systems for an egress window. Upon further inspection, it was clear the homeowner had bowing walls. Before the egress window could be installed, the walls would have to be stabilized. The east, south and west walls all needed some help, so the design specialist, Mac McDaniel, recommended CarbonArmor. Thin CarbonArmor strips that are 10x stronger than steel are now stabilizing her basement in preparation for a new egress window.
