This Grand Mound basement wasn't exactly sunshine and rainbows. Leaky windows, bowing walls – yikes! But the homeowners knew who to call. Our expert crew got to work, implementing a full perimeter waterproofing solution, installing PowerBraces for wall stabilization, and adding two brand new egress windows.

Jonathan was having issues with water coming in through his basement and quickly called MidAmerica Basement Systems. He was offered a waterproofing system to keep water from surfacing, but because the wall and floors were pour as one whole foundation, a special tactic was done. Weep holes were drilled into the walls foundation to allow water to enter, and a CleanSpace strip was installed over top of the holes. Adding CleanSpace helps direct the water to a WaterGuard system. WaterGuard is a drainage track that collects water and redirects it to a sump pump. Jonathan no longer has water in his basement thanks to MidAmerica Basement Systems.

The previous homeowner tried to keep water out of their crawl space by making a homemade sump pump which left the new homeowner with a damp, dirty and smelly crawl space. The team at MidAmerica Basement Systems made the crawl space dryer, cleaner and healthier by installing CleanSpace liner and a SmartSump pump system. The new homeowner is very relieved for their new and improved crawl space!
