Homeowner Robin has lived in her home for many years. Carl had multiple foundation cracks in his basement but thought it was normal due to old age. Design specialist Mac McDaniel inspected the Sivis home, evaluating the issues and creating a custom designed plan to ensure the basement would be stable and dry. Foreman Justin Bailey came out to the home to install the new waterproofing system and PoweBraces. The waterproofing system involved patented WaterGuard, a new TripleSafe sump pump, and CleanSpace wall. The walls were stabilized with PowerBraces and Cross Beams. Lori is very happy with the dry and safe bawsement!

The condition of this basement in Silvis was beginning to become a nuisance for these homeowners and so they decided to call on the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems. The team installed a TripleSafe sump pump system that comes with 3 pumps in one, one of the pumps is a battery powered back-up pump in case of a power outage, an alarm to alert the owner of any problems, an airtight lid and more.

The experts also installed a WaterGuard that will redirect any wall leaks to the TripleSafe sump pump. The foundation floor had large cracks which were created by hydrostatic pressure. Hydrostatic pressure is essentially pressure that builds when the ground around and under the home absorb lots of water, such as during storms. This pressure builds and begins to push against the foundation floor/walls. Large cracks in the foundation can lead to more complications if not addressed by an expert.
