Pier Systems for Commercial Foundation
When it comes to commercial foundations, we use the Supportworks Push Pier System to stabilize and potentially lift failing commercial foundations back into place. The piers are driven down deep into the ground until load-bearing soil is reached. The commercial building is then transferred onto the piers for permanent stability to prevent any settling in the future.
At MidAmerica Basement Systems, we know the importance of your commercial building and its structural stability. Rely on our foundation experts to restore your building and keep it safe for everyone.
How Commercial Foundation Piers Work
For commercial properties, we use the Model 288 Push Pier System. It includes an external sleeve that provides additional support for the weight of the property. The brackets are attached to the structure to stabilize and help lift it back into place to prevent future settling.
The system also includes a friction reducing collar, which essentially helps create additional space for the pier to reduce friction as it is driven down into the ground. This helps create a much smoother installation process and helps the piers become more stabilized.
