Photo Album: Lifted and Leveled Concrete in Rock Island, IL
Concrete is typically poured and then filled with back soil around it after construction is finished. The soil will settle, but it will take time to do so. As the soil settles it creates voids throughout it. These voids cause the concrete to shift and move causing an uneven surface and creating a hazardous area. The concrete had shifted at this homeowner's home in Rock Island, IL. He contacted the experts in the industry, MidAmerica Basement Systems and Brandon and his team were more than happy to help this homeowner out!

No Mud Needed
PolyLevel has the same idea as mud-jacking but does not involve jackhammering the concrete. It uses lightweight foam rather than mud.
Controlled Expansion
It is injected through a dime-sized hole that is drilled into the slab. The slab is then injected with the lightweight foam as it expands in a controlled way.
Compresses Soil Lifts Concrete
As PolyLevel is injected it compresses the soil beneath as it lifts, creating a stable base in areas where the fill soil was poorly compacted.
Fills Voids Beneath
The PolyLevel will fill voids found under a concrete surface.
Made With Recycled Materials
It is a very environmentally friendly installation. The PolyLevel is made with recycled materials and it will not degrade.
Waterproof System
The system is also waterproof, so it will not wash out!
