Homeowner, David was having water coming into his basement from one side and had a bowing wall on the other. He knew this was a problem for the experts to fix, MidAmerica Basement Systems. Design Specialist, Justin, and Installer, Bill were able to work together to reform David's space where he is back to be able to be using it and not have to worry about water coming in or a wall continuing to bow inward.

Stabilizing The Wall

Powerbrace bracing the basement wall. This is a great system to have installed if there is limited access to the exterior walls.

Perimeter Installation of WaterGuard

WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement. It will intercept the water if it comes in and drains the water safely, unseen away.

Keeping The Walls Clean With CleanSpace

CleanSpace was installed behind the Powerbrace system. CleanSpace will be able to stop water vapor from permeating the walls and drain wall leaks.

Horizontal Cracks

Cracks forming in basement wall horizontally, this is the first stage in wall failure.
