Photo Album: Stabilizing and Waterproofing Basement in Kewanee, IL

Anthony and Heidi were looking to finish their basement and reached to the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems. During inspection it was noted that the foundation cracks were from bowing walls and causing some areas to leak. To address the leaking and bowing foundation, a damp-proofing technique was conducted and CarbonArmor stabilizing too place. After the foundation was stabilized, a waterproofing system was installed. WaterGuard and LateralDrains were installed around the perimeter and throughout the floor cracks to prevent water from surfacing. Once collected in the drainage tracks, water is redirected to a TripleSafe sump pump to properly discharge it out of the home. A SaniDry Sedona was also installed to help maintain humidity and moisture levels. And since Anthony and Heidi were looking to finish their basement, they also had an egress window installed.
