Photo Album: Home's Foundation is Stabilized in Garnavillo, IA
Rosalie was concerned about the downward slope she was feeling in her home. She reached out for help to have her foundation inspected and MidAmerica Basement Systems was there to help. During her evaluation, Mike had offered her a push pier system with an additional support beam to properly stabilization. Push piers were driven deep down in the ground to a solid, stable bedrock to provide the most effective support for the failing foundation. Once desired stabilization is met, brackets are installed on the pier so they can be used to support the foundation. A steel support beam was also installed to give added support to the rest of the foundation. Rosalie now has a stable and safe home to live in.
Push Piers Installed
After push piers are installed, support beams are added for extra support.
Stabilized Foundation
After hydraulic pressure is applied, the brackets fit snug against the foundation, permanently supporting the weight of the home.
