Photo Album: Water Intrusion and Bowing Wall are Repaired in Rock Falls, IL Basement
Douglas was having issues with his sump pump getting water in his basement and reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems. During his inspection, it was noted that the pump could not handle the intake of the water that was seeping in the basement. It was also addressed that the walls had begun to bow, causing large foundation cracks. A TripleSafe was installed to replace the old, worn out system, along with WaterGuard and CleanSpace Liner. WaterGuard helps collect and redirect any seeping water to the TripleSafe, while the CleanSpace Liner acts as a moisture barrier to the foundation cracks. A PowerBrace system was than installed along the bowing walls to permanently stabilize the walls, and prevent any future inward movement.
