Photo Album: StakWel Egress Window Provides Safety Escape for Home in Hills, IA
Mackenzie was expanding her livable space in her basement but first needed to make it safe. She had heard of installing egress windows that work as both a window and a safety escape during emergencies. She was provided many different options from multiple companies but one company out stood the rest. MidAmerica Basement Systems offered a StakWel Egress system that uses stable units to create the proper depths and heights needed for the installation. The units act not only as the structure for the sill, but provide an easy stair-step exit during emergencies. StakWel Egress Windows also offer natural light into the basement, creating a more pleasant space.
