Photo Album: Leaking and Bowing Walls are Repaired in Rochelle, IL
Michelle was noticing water seeping in through her basement foundation walls and contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have a waterproofing system installed. After her inspection, it was addressed that the walls were bowing, and because of the bowing, the foundation had cracked. To fix the issue, CleanSpace Liner was placed along the walls to help direct water down the wall and prevent excess moisture from entering the basement. At the base of wall, WaterGuard was installed to collect the water that seeped in from the wall cracks. WaterGuard helped redirect the water to a TripleSafe sump to be properly discharged. PowerBraces were installed along the bowing walls to permanently stop and stabilize the foundation. The patented I-Beam system allows from tightening, which can allow for the walls to become straight again, and close the foundation cracks. Michelle now has a dry and stable basement with the help from MidAmerica Basement Systems.
