Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing for Home in Granville, IL
Steve and Susan had a multi-constructed basement foundation. Some areas were poured concrete, others brick, and small a combination of both, all resulting in a leaking, wet basement. A large concern that the couple was worried about was the Michigan Ledge. The wall containing the ledge would receive the most water issue, leaving them troubled for a solution. After meeting with a design specialist, all their issues were resolved. The old sump was removed and replaced with a new TripleSafe sump. WaterGuard was installed along the perimeter of the basement to collect any water that leaked in from the floor and walls. CleanSpace Liner was placed along all the leaking walls, including the Michigan Ledge, to redirect seeping water to the WaterGuard, and help reduce moisture. A SaniDry Sedona was also installed to control humidity levels. Steve and Susan no longer worry about water surfacing in their basement.
