Dave’s home was reaching high levels of Radon, some areas reaching as high as 10 pCi/L, and knew that without reducing the levels, serious health hazards would continue to build for him and his family. During evaluation of Dave’s home, it was addressed that for an effect mitigation system to be installed, the crawlspace must first be encapsulated. CleanSpace Drainage Matting and CleanSpace were placed in the crawlspace, creating a seal from the dirt ground and rest of the home. After the home was sealed off, a Radon Mitigation system was installed. The CleanSpace prevents the Radon from seeping into the home, and the mitigation system withdraws the Radon from the dirt. Dave and his family now have safer air to breathe inside their home.
Dirt Crawlspace
Untreated crawlspaces allow for Radon to easily enter your home.
Drainage Matting
Adding a drainage matting helps direct moisture, keeping it from collecting in the crawlspace.
Encapsulated Crawlspace
CleanSpace completely seals off the crawlspace from the dirt ground, creating a proper suction for the Radon Mitigation system.
Exiting the Home
Radon pipe is directed outside to be discharged out of the home.
Proper Suction
A fan is properly installed to rid Radon from crawlspace.
Reducing Radon Levels
The Radon Mitigation system allows for cleaner air to breathe inside the home.
