Joe had a partial finished basement because he knew his basement had a small leak in a couple areas. It was never a big issue that a fan and dehumidifier couldn’t fix, until recently. During a large rain fall, he was noticing that water was beginning to accumulate and was taking longer to dry out. He called MidAmerica Basement Systems to have the leaking issues addressed. They suggested that a TripleSafe Sump, WaterGuard, and a SaniDry XP be installed to help prevent any water from accumulating more. The WaterGuard helps direct the water to the TripleSafe Sump to be discharged out of the home, while the SaniDry XP dehumidifier absorbs any extra moisture in the air. Now Joe has a waterproofed basement that he can finally fully finish and not worry about damaging his possessions.
