Basement Waterproofing in Ottawa, IL

Challenge

Kristen B. of Ottawa, IL lives in a beautiful home that was built in 1890. However, the charming home was afflicted by frequent water intrusions. Kristen decided to contact MidAmerica Basement Systems, to turn her basement into a usable space, and keep the water out.

Solution

Kristen met with design specialist, Dan Garner. Dan inspected the inside and the outside of the home to identify why Kristen was having water come into her basement. Then, Dan designed a plan for the basement that would best fit Kristen's needs.

After devising the solution, Kristen met with foreman Justin Reger. Justin and his team got to wok installing the solution.  The solution for Kristen's dual room basement was full perimeter WaterGuard, the patented sub-floor drainage system, and CleanSpace liner, which keeps water from the walls from entering the interior. Additionally, Just installed a SuperSump Sump Pump with IceGuard and a buried drainage line. The IceGuard allows water from the sump pump to exit, even in the cold when the discharge line may freeze. 

Kristen is very happy to her 19th century basement dry again.
