Clinton, IA's Community Reformed Church Gets Waterproofed
Challenge
Water was coming into the basement of the church, deeming the space unusable. Knowing these problems only get worse, the church board knew that they needed to act. They decided to call the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems for a thorough evaluation and free estimate.
Solution
The church board met with design specialist Mac McDaniel to get a custom solution for their basement problem. Mac recommended installing WaterGuard, a WaterGuard Port, TrenchDrain, two new TripleSafe Sump Pumps, a buried discharge line, and IceGuard. Mac also recommended patching the weep holes. The church board decided to get the project done so they wouldn't have more issues in the future.
Foreman Justin Reger and his team completed the large project in just two days. First, they dug the trench for WaterGuard, a patented sub-floor drainage system, and for the TrenchDrain. The water is collected in the sub-floor drainage system, and emptied into one of the two powerful sump pumps. Then the water is pumped out of the TripleSafe Sump Pump, down the buried discharge lines. The TripleSafe Sump Pump has two powerful pumps and a battery back up to keep the basement dry, even when the power goes out. The basement is now dry and the church community is very happy.
