Basement Waterproofed in Sterling, IL
Challenge
Glen and Gail D. from Sterling were referred to the professionals at MidAmerica Basement Systems because they were frustrated with water intrusion in their basement. The couple explained that water was seeping through the floor and the edges where the wall meets the floor. The team sent a Design Specialist to the home to provide an inspection and same day quote to the couple at no cost. Mark suggested a perimeter drainage system to address the leaks along with a new and improved sump system. Excited to have a dry basement, they gave the go ahead!
Solution
The project was led by Foreman, Justin Bailey. The team installed the patented perimeter drainage system, WaterGuard, to drain leaks into the newly installed SuperSump pump system. WaterGuard is installed on top of the foundation footing to prevent clogging that plagues other drainage systems. The WaterGuard was also installed with a WaterGuard Port to make inspection and maintenance easier. The SuperSump comes with a cast iron pump, perforated liner, airtight drain, airtight lid and WaterWatch alarm system. Gail and Glen are relieved to not have to fret with water intrusion in their basement!
