Basement to Beautiful Panels in Waterloo, IA
Challenge
Homeowner Julie recently decided that it was time to seek professional advice about waterproofing and finishing her basement. She wanted to make sure that this space was clean, dry and a livable space to enjoy in her home.
Solution
To make sure that Julie's home was protected from the water she had a full perimeter waterproofing system installed in her home. The waterproofing system included a full perimeter WaterGuard and a TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe sump pump is a three pup system that comes with a battery back up and Waterwatch alarm. The battery back is used to keep the system running in case of power loss and the WaterWatch alarm is used to alert you in the case that the water in the pump gets too high. The WaterGuard system is used with the sump pump to channel out the water. To install the products a trench is jackhammered away from the perimeter. After the perimeter trench is complete the trench is cleanout out and leveled. When the trench is at the required level the WaterGuard system is placed in the trench. The trench is backfilled with rocks to hold it in the proper place and then paved over to make the system a permanent part f your home that goes unnoticed.
