The sunken and cracked concrete around your Muscatine County home is both an eyesore and a safety hazard. It is also likely to get worse, but we can fix it for you.
Our experts use PolyLevel, a superior polyurethane foam. Small holes are drilled in the concrete, the foam is injected and the expanding foam lifts the concrete. The majority of contractors you will call use mudjacking instead of foam. Mudjacking is heavier, require larger holes in the concrete and does not last as long as PolyLevel. Sunken and cracked concrete is caused by many different things. Wash-outs and ground settlement produce voids under the slabs, producing stress on the slabs. Sometime the slabs sink from the pressure, other times they crack and break into different sections, leaving your driveway full of tripping hazards and an unpleasant appearance. MidAmerica Basement Systems have the perfect solution to lifting and leveling sunken, cracked concrete. The injection of PolyLevel is similar to mudjacking, but provides more advantages. PolyLevel is lightweight, and has a quick dry time. The lightweight material makes filling voids and lifting concrete in the fraction of the time it takes to mudjack. With its quick dry time, accessing the injected area can happen in as little as 15 minutes compared to days is takes to access an area that has used mudjacking. As for PolyLevel vs. concrete replacement, the biggest advantage is cost and time. Don’t settle for waiting days, even weeks on end lifting and leveling concrete, complete the job in as little as a day with PolyLevel.
