The sunken and cracked concrete around your La Salle County home is both an eyesore and a safety hazard. It is also likely to get worse, but we can fix it for you.
Our experts use PolyLevel, a superior polyurethane foam. Small holes are drilled in the concrete, the foam is injected and the expanding foam lifts the concrete. The majority of contractors you will call use mudjacking instead of foam. Mudjacking is heavier, require larger holes in the concrete and does not last as long as PolyLevel. Emily noticed some vertical cracks in her basement foundation, where she was also getting some water. She was referred by a past customer to call the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems for a free estimate.
After a quick call to the office, an appointment was set up for Mark Kurtz to come evaluate the basement. Mark decided the best solution for the specific foundation problem was to install Power Braces along one wall and Push Piers on the other wall. The Power Braces go along the inside of the foundation wall and not only keep the wall from caving in further, but also begin to push the wall back to its upright position. The Push Piers go along the outside of the wall and are used to fix sagging foundations. The Push Piers are driven deep into the ground to stabilize and lift a home’s foundation back into place. Mark’s solution for the water problem was to install a SuperSump pumping system with WaterGuard along the problematic wall. The SuperSump pumping system will pump the water out and away from the home and the WaterGuard will direct that water to the SuperSump.
Emily is very happy with the experience of MidAmerica Basement Systems. There is no longer a worry of the basement or foundation having any more issues.
