The first crawl space is the larger of the two. The team cleared out all the debris and then laid out CleanSpace Drainage Matting. The drainage system is a dimpled polyethylene membrane material that allows water to flow underneath the CleanSpace liner. The team installed SilverGlo on the walls which is a foil backed foam insulating material. The SilverGlo is impregnated with graphite, which reduces heat from escaping the space. SilverGlo is inorganic making it unlikely to deteriorate. The space was sealed with CleanSpace liner wit is a 20 mil thick plastic liner that has multiple layers of plastics with differentiating flexibility making it resistant to tears and punctures. CleanSpace is an inorganic material that also has an antimicrobial additive called UnltraFresh which prevents mold growth on the liner. The second crawl space is smaller and was fitted with the CleanSpace liner as well. Drilling small, 5/8 inch holes, the polyurethane mixture fills all voids, and precisely lifts and levels sunken concrete. The quick reaction time of the PolyLevel prevents under- or over-lifting of the slabs, assuring a level outcome every time. PolyLevel also offers a lightweight material that prevents extra stress on the soil under the concrete, producing a more permanent solution that mud jacking. With PolyLevel, there is no need to demo old sunken concrete and replacing it brand new. It helped Steve save plenty of money, and also providing a longer-lasting, more effective, solution to leveling his concrete.
