During inspection, it was brought to attention that the home had begun to settle due to the ground washing out from inside the crawlspace. A Helical Pier system was offered to stabilize the home and protect it from settling anymore. The piers were driven deep into the ground, to a stable bedrock, and provide a permanent solution to stabilizing the home. To prevent water from seeping in the foundation walls, CleanSpace was applied to the walls, helping reduce moisture issues. Mike K. called MidAmerica Basement Systems after he found that his radon levels in his home came back higher than what the EPA recommends as a "safe" radon level. Knowing the dangers of the toxic gas, he met with design specialist Clayton Spinler. Clayton designed a radon mitigation system that would significantly reduce the radon levels in Mike's home, and protect him from the toxicity. Foreman Bill Wilcox and his team installed the select radon mitigation system with an exterior aesthetic package. The non-obtrusive system keeps radon out, and it looks great!

Coralville, IA homeowners were afflicted by a damp and dirty crawlspace. They called MidAmerica Basement Systems to make their home healthy by encapsulating the crawlspace. After meeting with their design specialist, the homeowners decided to get the crawlspace work done as soon as possible.

This meant the PowerBraces would have to be dramatically "offset" and joining Cross Beams were used for additional support. Foreman Pete Hensler and team set to work installing the new stabilization system. The foundation of his home is now stable, and Aidan has the much needed peace of mind!
