Camanche homeowner, Andrea H., decided that she was ready to increase the value of her home, and add a legal extra bedroom by installing an egress window. She contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems and met with design specialist Clayton Spinler for a free estimate.
Clayton showed Andrea the StakWEL egress system with a pump and exit, and the StakWel Cover. The aesthetic StakWEL egress system looks great, and the StakWEL cover keep debris and water out of the well. The cover also helps increase energy efficiency by trapping hot air that tries to sneak out windows in the winter. Finally, the pump and exit system keeps water out of the well, which effectively keeps water out of the basement. Andrea is very please with her lovely new addition.
Mike V. of Camanche, IA had a sinking driveway. He called the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems for an estimate with design specialist Clatyton Spinler. Mike’s solution for their crawlspace was to encapsulate the area with CleanSpace, Drainage Matting, and a SaniDry CX. Encapsulating the area with CleanSpace keeps the crawlspace “critter” and bug free while adding a clean look to the space. The CleanSpace Drainage Matting will filter the water out of the area and the SaniDry CX is a dehumidifier that will keep the humidity down and extra moisture out.
