Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Absolutely Dry Basement in Muscatine
This Muscatine home had water coming into the basement. The homeowners had previously installed a drain tile system with a sump pump but were still battling with water during heavy rains. After assessing the situation, it was decided that while their current system was great, it wasn't enough to handle the capacity of the water. Our crews installed lateral drainage pipes below the floor to capture the water and carry it directly out of the home through their brand new sump pump system. The result is a dry basement and happy homeowners!
Before
The basement prior to beginning any basement waterproofing work.
During
The trench for the lateral drains was dug, the drains were installed, and rock was used to fill the space. The next step is to seal over it with fresh concrete.
Lateral Drainage Installed
Lateral drainage has been installed and will catch any water coming through the floor and guide it out of the home.
