Leaking Basement in Cedar Rapids, IA is Waterproofed
Challenge
Water was leaking in through the foundation and block concrete walls in Janice’s home. When it would rain hard, water would even pool in the corners of her basement, and since her home was made of block concrete, it makes it easy for water to seep in through small cracks. She needed a solution to stop her basement from retaining water.
Solution
A call to MidAmerica Basement Systems would finally put all the pooling water to rest. The experts installed WaterGuard, CleanSpace, and a TripleSafe Sump to keep Janice’s basement dry. CleanSpace was placed along the wall to direct water that was coming in from the cracks in the foundation walls. WaterGuard was installed to direct water that was coming off of the CleanSpace and in from the foundation floor, to be discharged from the TripleSafe Sump. The TripleSafe Sump to discharge water out of the home. TripleSafe offers three different sumps that ensure no water will pool anymore in the basement. Janice now has a waterproofing system she can rely on to keep her basement dry.
