Basement Brightened & Waterproofed in Macomb, IL

Challenge

Donna and Mark M. were new homeowners in Macomb. The couple noticed that their basement was not waterproofed properly and having worked with the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems before on another property, the homeowners knew who to trust. The couple spoke to Appointment Center Representative, Brittany Soucy, and explained they wanted waterproofing and explained that the sump system in the home was "funky" and water intrusion is noticeable from window wells and further stated that they will be going with MidAmerica for the work at this property because they really enjoyed the work the team did for them previously. The team sent a Design Specialist to provide a thorough inspection and no obligation estimate. 

Solution

The project to make the basement both brighter and safer was led by Foreman, Mike Keck.  The team installed a Rockwell egress window installation and also installed new vinyl EverLast Basement Windows. To waterproof the basement, Foreman, Justin Bailey and his team fixed the wall crack with FlexiSpan.  Replacing the old “funky” system, they installed SuperSump pump system with cast iron pump, liner, airtight lid with airtight floor drain, CleanPump Stand, and WaterWatch alarm system. The SuperSump was also installed with UltraSump battery back-up pumping system. To waterproof the perimeter the team installed WaterGuard drainage system designed to drain leaks to the SuperSump system.

Donna and Mark now have a basement that is more welcoming, dryer and safer!
