Waterproofing & Brightening a Basement in Moline, IL
Challenge
Randy P. from Moline was experiencing a lot of water coming into his basement during heavy rains. Frustrated with the ordeal, Randy turned to the 'All things basementy' experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems. Randy expressed to the Appointment center representative, Brittany Soucy, that the basement was excessively wet whenever a storm would pass. The team sent Design Specialist, Mac McDaniel, to provide Randy a thorough inspection of the home and suggest the best solution. With a clear plan laid out, Randy gave the team the ok!
Solution
The team was led by Foreman, Justin Bailey. To waterproof the basement the team installed TripleSafe pump system. They also installed IceGuard to prevent floods from frozen discharge line and a LawnScape outlet at end of the discharge line. To keep humidity levels low, a SaniDry XP Basement Air System was installed. Mold X was used to neutralize mold growth. WaterGuard, asub-floor drainage system, was installed around the perimeter. To transform the space, BrightWall paneling system was also installed. In addition, Randy received a military discount which saved him money on the project. Randy has a basement that smells fresh and is wonderfully clean and dry!
