Basement Leaks Corrected in Davenport, IA
Challenge
Julia R. of Davenport called the professionals at MidAmerica Basement Systems to remedy water intrusion in her basement. Julia explained that she had noticed cracks in her foundation floors with water intrusion entering into the space at the bottom of the walls on North West side of the basement. The team sent Design Specialist, Michael Banks, to Julia's residence to provide a thorough inspection and same day quote at no cost to her. After explaining solutions to Julia, Julia gave the green light and soon the team was at work.
Solution
The project was led by Lead Foreman, Mike Clementz. To address the issues of wall leaks, the team installed strips of the durable, mold resistant CleanSpace liner to the water damaged walls. CleanSpace liners will drain into the perimeter drainage system. The professionals installed the patented WaterGuard system as the basements water drainage system which will drain wall leaks and rising ground water away from the foundation and directly to the powerful, innovative TripleSafe sump pump. TripleSafe has three pumps, the third pump is the units’ battery back-up which activates in the event of a power outage (common in severe thunderstorms). Julia's basement is waterproofed and protected thanks to the professional installation of innovative and effective products.
